The “Go Global” 2025 Award of the ITC – the International Trade Council, the organization supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in cooperation with the United Nations (UN) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – for outstanding achievements in the financial sector, for 2025 was granted to the insurance brokerage company Euromak Broker AD Skopje.
The award ceremony took place on 19 November 2025 in Palace No. 1 on George V Avenue, Westminster, London, United Kingdom, in the ceremonial halls named after the greatest innovators and entrepreneurs of the Industrial Revolution, John Smeaton (1724–1792) and Marc Isambard Brunel (1769–1849).
This is the first ITC “Go Global” Award presented to a business entity from the Macedonian insurance industry.
The flagship annual programme of the International Trade Council, the “Go Global” Awards, recognizes and highlights excellence in global trade, innovation, market stabilisation and expansion. The awards showcase those companies that have a significant impact on international trade.
This prestigious recognition for 2025 was awarded to the insurance brokerage company Euromak Broker AD from the Republic of Macedonia for demonstrating unparalleled expertise in navigating the complexities of insurance markets in the region – in particular within the challenging economic environment of the Republic of Macedonia – and for its proven ability to lead and innovate within the insurance sector while maintaining its stability, especially in transition economies and emerging markets. This includes the development of new insurance products and solutions specifically tailored to the needs of clients in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as delivering exceptional client service, customised insurance solutions and comprehensive support throughout the entire insurance process.
“An exceptional moment for our company – and certainly for our insurance industry as a whole, which has supported us in our work – is receiving this recognition for our contribution to the successful transformation of the insurance market in our country into a responsible, balanced financial system based on real capital and entrepreneurship, aimed at providing security and protection to legal entities and individuals through insurance policies.
We responded to the invitation for evaluation and nomination for this esteemed recognition, encouraged by the fact that the global market has recognised our values. It is a rewarding feeling to know that you have helped things to move, and then strongly move forward, in the right direction – especially in your own and the wider business environment,” stated Dragan Lazareski, Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
